Menen Steppe
The Menen Steppe (Menengiin Tal) is the largest flat plain in Mongolia, located in the midst of the vast Eastern Mongolian plains. This steppe is located in the territory of Matad soum of Dornod Province. The surface of the steppe is even, and its slope does not exceed 10 m/km. The Menen Steppe occupies an area over 90 km long and over 60 km wide to the west of Buir Lake.
