Dondov Lama's Spring

Between Erkhet Khairkhan Mountain and the Kharaa River, located on the southern side of Salkhit bag of Khongor soum, there is a spring that cures stomach and intestinal internal diseases. This spring called Lama Dondov’s has been customarily drunk by local people since ancient times during the flourishing summer season. Also, when milk and dairy products were abundant, while distilling with a pot, they added spring water and produced high-quality dairy vodka. On the southern slope of Erkhet Mountain there was a learned and astrologer great lama named Dondov, and because he constantly drank from this spring, it was thus named.
