Biibulagyn Ruin (Baibalik)

After the fall of the Turkic Khaganate, the Uyghur state temporarily rose to power in Mongolia. Evidence of the Uyghurs building their own state and constructing cities and fortifications can be seen in the ruins of Khar Balgas located in Hotont soum of present-day Arkhangai Province, and in the Biibulagyn Ruin (Baibalik) located near Namnan Mountain in Khutag-Öndör soum of Bulgan Province. These ruins are included in the list of historical and cultural heritage sites under state protection.
