Baga Turgen Waterfall

One of the scenic sites within Altai Tavan Bogd National Park is the Big and Small Turgen Waterfalls, located in the Baga Turgen Gorge in the valley of Khoton and Khurgan lakes in Tsengel soum. These waterfalls originate from perpetually snow-covered mountains and flow through pristine wilderness, creating a magnificent natural spectacle. The waterfall is 15 meters high, making it the tallest waterfall in the province. The surrounding mountains are rich in larch trees, caragana shrubs, and bush vegetation.
